James Miller
Florida, USA
Owner, artist, webmaster, and designer
Born in Hannibal, MO, James moved to Florida with his parents in 1968. Aside from doing freelance work as a small office network specialist, he runs several web sites for friends and clients.
James got to take his love of maps to the next level when he worked as a cartographic technician for the US Fish and Wildlife Services, doing the National Wetlands Inventory for over 5-1/2 years. However, when the computer age took over the mapping industry, James decided to move along in that direction, working at every possible angle: QC solder tech at a local board company, PC tech, small office networking, but mostly 2D and 3D computer graphics and art.
Having been an avid gamer ever since that "three books in a little white box" came out in 1974, James has been playing and running RPG games for a sizable part of his life, and has received several awards at gaming conventions for everything from ADnD to Car Wars. His main games of preference are D20/OGL, GURPS, Gamma World, and Traveler (in all it's incarnations). James has played almost every game system that was put out before 2000!
Professionally, James worked extensively with ProFantasy's Simon Rogers, assisting them with setting up the raster art for Campaign Cartographer 3 and the Dungeon Designer 3 sets.
While everyone seems to think James' main hobby is sitting in front of his rack of computers, it is actually painting miniatures, and he has over 8000 figs dating all the way back to 1974.

Rick Ricci
Indiana, USA
Contributing artist and designer
www.bluscave.com
Rick has been into fine arts since high school and has now ventured into computer graphic arts for D&D mapping. He is very detailed in his work and strives to achieve a realistic look in all the maps he creates. He has been playing D&D since the late 80's, and is still hooked on the game. Rick also enjoys playing Vampire, Warhammer 40K, and painting his many miniatures.
It should also be noted that Rick has entered and won several of the Campaign Cartographer 2 Symbol Challenges, along with getting noted in the Community Spotlight numerous times for both his maps and objects at the Dundjinni forums.
By day, Rick is a quality engineer working with customers' products for the automotive industry. When creating maps, he aims for that same level of customer satisfaction and perfection.
Rick lives in Indiana and spends his spare time driving around, taking digital pictures to make graphic objects for the maps you see here.

Matt Allen
Florida, USA
Contributing artist and play tester
www.gharial42.deviantart.com
Matt grew up in St. Louis, MO and lived there until 1997 when he decided to quit his job at the St. Louis Zoo and move to Florida to further pursue his interests in herpetology. In 1999 Matt became the curator of reptiles and invertebrates at the Science Center of Pinellas County. While working there he fully realized his passion for teaching and is currently pursuing his bachelor’s in education.
Aside from herpetology and teaching, Matt has always had a love of fine arts. He attended Visual and Performing Arts High School in the late eighties and had planned to pursue a career in art until his focus switched to reptiles in the mid nineties. In the last few years, Matt has renewed his interest in visual art and began creating new works. His main tools are colored pencils, but he is currently honing his skills in digital art and sculpture as well.
Matt’s interest in gaming developed in the third grade when his teacher let the class play the TSR board game “Dungeon”. He continued his interest in gaming, casually playing Dungeons and Dragons throughout the early eighties, until his gaming group disbanded and his interests changed to punk music and girls. After years of trying to get back into gaming, Matt finally stumbled back into it in 2009. Soon after, he met James Miller and realized he could mix two of his favorite things, gaming and art. |

Chris Strecker
Florida, USA
Contributing artist
www.chrisstrecker.com
As a child, Chris would raid his father's drafting supplies and grid paper to create cool dungeon and world maps for Dungeons & Dragons. That interest spurred on a more dedicated push towards drafting and fine art through his education. Graduating from UCF, Chris earned a BA in Graphic Design which also including focus in 3D animation.
Just after graduating, Chris went on to work for an award winning multimedia company developing interface designs and animations for European encyclopedia and atlas CD-Roms. After honing his skills there, he took up a position for a creative post production studio in downtown Orlando where he developed 2D and 3D graphics for TV, Video, and web. After the company's need to downsize, Chris started his own multimedia company, which he runs today, called Rhubarb Productions.
Gaming has always been a part of Chris' past time, but it took on a whole new level when he opened up a local game store in Orlando in 2005 (Rhubarb Games) and a gaming accessory manufacturing company (Portable Warfare) in 2010. In all of this, the desire to design and create maps for games is still alive and well.
